Experience

Stone carving became a passion for me in the 1980's when I started carving soapstone.

I eventually met the Stone Sculptors Guild of North America, They were having a Stone Sculpture Symposium on Prince's Island Park in Calgary, Alberta during the early 1990's

Those early days were a great learning experience and so were the years that followed. The guild was later rejuvenated for the Outwest Park project under the leadership of Eldon Guay. and was positively received by the public.

I watched sculptors create amazing works of art out of stone.

I have carved different types of stone for over thirty years now.

Most of my work is now in Alabaster and Marble..

Taking pride in my art and enjoying the creative process each day.

.

I enjoy working with Alabaster and Marble to create uplifting and interesting art.

Flowing lines in various forms play with light, colour and perspective.
